Could Evoake™ Veneer panels be a game-changer for your veneer project?

If you're after beautiful timber veneer that will always give you a consistent result, you can't go past Bestwood Evoake™. These high-quality engineered veneer panels offer a standard, repeatable oak layon for both crown and quarter-cut options, meaning the color and grain won't change across panels. This reduces wastage on panel matching and makes it a more affordable option, especially for larger projects.

Because Evoake™ veneer layons are slip-matched, it eliminates the risk of any paneling or 'picket-fencing' that sometimes can occur when using book-matched layons. Supplied with a coarse factory sand, they stain beautifully to any desired color, or you can clear-coat to bring out the natural beauty of the oak.

For wall and ceiling panels, Evoake™ can achieve a Group 1-s fire rating when pressed on Bestwood fire-rated MDF FR (black) or MDF FR MR (natural) and given a conventional coating. An intumescent coating isn't needed. Panels are available in both 2440mm or 2750mm long and have matching veneer edge tape.

Case Study

This gorgeous showroom kitchen by designer Georgia Langridge of Modi Design showcases the beautiful consistency of Bestwood Evoake™ veneer in a crown cut. Modi Design wanted to select a durable material that provided a natural, timeless aesthetic for their kitchen cabinetry. It needed to be welcoming and appealing to their clientele and cohesive with the rest of their showroom.

Bestwood's Evoake™ engineered natural oak veneer was selected for its standard, easy-to-work-with layon, which allows for precision matching patterns on panels and minimizes waste. The consistently even grain and color of Evoake means the stain will always be uniform across every panel. Working closely with MF Turnbull, Modi Design selected the perfect soft grey light stain to enhance the oak's natural crowns and grains. To complete the design, a melamine wood grain was used for the interior of the cabinetry, creating a wonderful two-toned look and a subtle surprise when the drawers are open.
