New from Laminex: Seratone AQUA PLUS
Laminex is pleased to introduce the new Seratone® AQUA PLUS™ range. These practical and easy-to-install Seratone panels have been enhanced with an advanced new substrate, creating a non-porous, resilient surface that offers superior resistance to marks, stains, steam, and moisture.
Seratone AQUA PLUS in Mineral
UV-coated in New Zealand on high-density mineral composite board, Seratone AQUA PLUS is impervious to water, impact-resistant, and dimensionally stable, ensuring long-lasting performance in homes, hospitals, restaurants, and other commercial spaces.
The Seratone AQUA PLUS range is available in six contemporary colours, including the classic Polar, two warm neutrals—Shell and Canvas, and two versatile greys—Summit, a mid-tone grey, and Meteor, a dark grey. These five shades are available in both gloss and matte finishes. The sixth colour, Mineral, is a soft green-blue with a grey base, providing an organic, natural aesthetic, and is available in a gloss finish only.
Applications and Installation
Seratone AQUA PLUS is straightforward to install with comprehensive installation guidelines. Its versatile applications include shower enclosures, bathrooms, splashbacks, and commercial settings where water and chemical-resistant panels are required to meet strict hygiene and cleaning standards. Seratone AQUA PLUS offers a complete solution for walls, ceilings, and splashbacks* in both wet and dry areas.

Product Range
The new Seratone AQUA PLUS range offers six modern colours, with Polar, Shell, Canvas, Summit, and Meteor available in both matte and gloss finishes. Mineral, a soft green-blue with grey undertones, is available exclusively in a gloss finish. This selection of colours and finishes allows designers and homeowners to tailor the panels to suit different interiors and aesthetic preferences.
Seratone AQUA PLUS Compliance
As a water-resistant sheet lining with a factory-applied polyurethane coating, Seratone AQUA PLUS complies with E3/AS1 3.1.2, clause (d) of the New Zealand Building Code for a wet area wall lining panel. When stored, handled, installed, and maintained according to current technical information, Seratone AQUA PLUS meets the durability requirements of the NZBC B2/AS1, ensuring a serviceable life of 15 years in wet areas and five years in other internal applications.
