Project: Powersurge shines at Waitī House

Nestled at the edge of the Kaitake Ranges, Waitī House offers a serene retreat for a well-traveled family, combining a breathtaking natural landscape with sophisticated design. This home, perched by a flowing river and overlooking expansive rolling green hills and the sea, provides a unique 360-degree view of the stars above. The seamless integration of land, sea (moana), and sky highlights the connection to the environment, crafted with the expertise of architect Ken Crosson and designer Thandi Jazmine.

For this project, Powersurge was specified for key design elements that enhanced the home’s aesthetic and functionality. Known for their bespoke metal works in some of New Zealand's most design-forward commercial spaces and beautiful homes, the following Powersurge products were used:

  • Loop Mirror

  • Arc Mirror

  • Seamless Lateral Light

  • The French Door Refrigeration Set

  • Ionic Handle

  • Link Pendant

Powersurge’s diverse product line and design-led ethos align perfectly with the contemporary yet timeless interior of Waitī House. Their Home Collection, featuring artisan lighting, mirrors, handles, and accessories, demonstrates the company’s commitment to creating bespoke metal works that capture the elemental properties of metal. Each piece adds a unique touch, blending functionality with artistry to elevate the home's overall design. Powersurge designs perfectly compliment a home that not only reflects the beauty of its surroundings but also stands out as a pinnacle of modern design.
